CHAPTER 15

Cassandra

I’m not sorry when Spence declares it’s my naptime after lunch. My brain is on overload. After the lecture about rules and limits, they let me explore my playroom for a while before taking me back downstairs for lunch.

Lunch consisted of a grilled cheese sandwich, apple slices, and baby carrots, all served on a compartmented green plastic plate like at breakfast. I also had a sippy cup of milk because they said Little girls need milk.

I haven’t eaten well in a long time, so everything they serve me is delicious, and I scarfed it all down. They had to admonish me for eating too fast three times.

I’m learning it’s hard for me to obey their minor restrictions because I love it when they reprimand me. “Slow down, Little one.” “Chew your food longer.” “Do I need to cut those apples smaller?”

The tone of their voices and the narrowed looks make me squirm. They know it. I know they know it. They know I know they know it. It’s a weird game. I’ve only been here about fifteen hours, and my life is unrecognizable.

Ben carries me upstairs to my room. He sits me on the edge of my bed before bending down to remove my shoes. When I lean to the side to climb under the covers, he stops me. “Let’s get your dress off first, Little pixie.”

I shudder as he pulls it over my head. I’m kind of glad. The smocking on that thing is true torture. I’ve spent the morning trying to ignore how hard my nipples have been because every time I move, the elastic torments them.

Now I understand why they chose that dress. If there’s a committee of Daddies who make those kinds of decisions in order to keep Little girls in a heightened state of arousal at all times, I’d like to take up a petition with them.

Ben helps me lie back, pulls the covers over me, and tucks Winnie into my arms. He leans over and kisses my forehead.

“When are you going to kiss me on my lips again?” I ask. This question has been niggling at me all day. They’ve both only kissed me once, and it was chaste.

He sits on the edge of the bed and sets a hand between my breasts over the covers. “Besides this morning, has anyone ever kissed you before, Little one?”

I shake my head, wishing my darn cheeks wouldn’t turn pink, but I know they do.

“Kissing is intimate. It’s special. It means something to me. To Spence, too. Those little pecks this morning don’t really count.”

“They counted to me,” I tell him.

He rubs my chest. “Okay. I’m sorry. That didn’t come out right. Everything between us counts, Little pixie. You’re right.”

I giggle. “Did you just say I was right and you were wrong about something?”

He groans, but he grins, too. “Don’t let it go to your head.”

“It already has. I think I’ll keep a list in one of those notebooks I saw on the shelf.”
